Nauticast B2 

 

If you are operating a Nauticast B2 we offer the following upgrade and service options:

  • MMSI reset: Regulations in most countries require that this be done by the manufacturer or an authorized dealer; please refer to our partner network listings. Alternatively, we also offer MMSI resets remotely via Internet by one of our service technicians. For this procedure you need to connect the B2 to your PC via data cable, and the PC must be hooked-up to the internet.
  • Link2AIS: If you use our Link2AIS software in connection with the B2 please check our download area for software updates.
  • Firmware updates: We will publish firmware updates if the need arises. These updates will normally be handled by an authorized Nauticast service partner. 
  • Troubleshooting: If you experience problems with reception or transmission of AIS data the most likely reasons are insufficient main power supply or faulty cabling and antennas. Please refer to the troubleshooting guide in the owners manual; earlier versions of the manual did not include this systematic instructions, so please download the latest manual version.
  • Repair: If the steps recommended in the troubleshooting guide do not solve the problem or you require other forms of technical assistance please contact us at support@nauticast.com or use our contact form.

 

 

Nauticast B AIS-300 

Although this device has been discontinued we still offer the following service and repair options:

  • MMSI reset: If you purchase a boat with our B AIS-300 installed, or buy a used device, you may need to set a new MMSI number. Regulations in most countries require that this be done by the manufacturer or an authorized dealer; please refer to our partner network listings. Alternatively, we also offer MMSI resets remotely via Internet by one of our service technicians. For this procedure you need to connec the B AIS-300 to your PC via data cable, and the PC must be hooked-up to the internet.
